All Options is a specialized proprietary trading firm based in Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and Austin (Texas), founded in 1998. We are fully regulated and trade our own capital as a liquidity provider (market maker) on all major European option exchanges. We are opening an office in Austin to trade major US options markets.

The role

Our Trading Systems Support Engineers provide the front-line support and keep all systems running. They work closely as a team with traders, developers and IT, absorbing and sharing the knowledge about all three and emphasizing on the system reliability and minimal downtime from any trader’s problem.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to our trading teams.
• Oversee the systems that drive our trading activities.
• Handling the system related issues, solving the most on spot and passing the rest to other experts.
• Perform the changes, coordinate the upgrades and be in contact with relevant 3rd parties.
• Optimise wisely and automate support where it can be done, delivering new ideas and improvements when responding to incidents.
• Develop good trading knowledge and combine it with system and development expertise.

Background

• Bachelor’s Degree in any tech or software related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Customer support preferably in IT or Software related industry.
• Experience with Linux OS and command line (2+ years), basic programming experience in Python.
• Experience with Database technologies (eg. MSSQL, Postgres, Redis, InfluxDB, MongoDB).
• Basic understanding of financial markets and instruments.
• Team player, proactive, self-starter, out of the box thinking.
• Availability to work in US time/zone.

We are a hybrid working environment and we provide full home set up. Together with your manager you decide if you come to our office in the city center of Amsterdam or work from home. You also have the opportunity to work from abroad for 2 months per year.
