The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a manager (up to Account Director level) with experience in Corporate and Consumer PR to join our team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, developing, and executing PR strategies. You will work closely with clients to ensure their objectives are met, additionally you will be responsible for crisis and media training, ensuring that our clients are prepared to effectively manage any situation that may arise.

What you’ll do as you move with us:

• campaign planning & strategy: developing creative and innovative communication strategies and toolkits.
• lead projects, manage budgets and monitor KPIs
• Influencer marketing: identify the right influencers, using specific tools developed by BCW. You will develop campaigns seamlessly connecting clients’ wishes and goals to the influencer’s capabilities.
• client relationships: day-to-day point of contact for all your clients and considered to be their natural trusted advisor.
• integrated working: work on an integrated level with other BCW and WPP offices both in the Netherlands and in other markets.
• pursue the highest possible professional standards and have impeccable attention to detail.
• coaching and mentoring team members and guiding them into high-performing individuals.
• demonstrate a good level of commercial awareness, such as capacity planning, forecasting, monthly billing cycles for client accounts, using your knowledge and experience to help maintain profitability.
• actively contribute to the development of BCW at both local and international levels by joining practice groups and other forums.

Experience that contributes to your success:

• experience in corporate and consumer PR, including crisis and media training, preferably gained in an agency environment.
• strong media relations and excellent knowledge of the online and offline media landscape.
• broad social interest: you are interested in current affairs & trending new topics.
• ability to translate current developments into opportunities for clients.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
