Crux is looking for a Data Scientist to join our data science team. This is a perfect opportunity for the successful candidate to become a part of an innovative and energetic team that develops algorithms for automated document processing, entity recognition, data curation, integration, and navigation and helps our clients to be more productive by allowing them to focus on what they do best. Your primary focus will be applying machine learning techniques, performing statistical analysis, and designing algorithms for automated curation and linkage of high-value datasets.
Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of how Crux applies technology to make the data available to our clients
Research and develop machine learning models for automated curation and data dictionary unification
Develop and implement NLP solutions for entity recognition and matchingIncorporation of GenAI into existing ML pipelines
Collaborate with the data science team to facilitate the adoption of AI technologies
Keep up-to-date with the latest ML technology and data science trends
Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering, or a related field
1 to 2 years of experience or internship in a related filed.
Practical experience with machine learning with natural language processing, entity recognition algorithms, and scientific computational libraries
Strong background in data and statistical analysis
Good understanding of various data structures and common methods in data transformation
Experience with statistical programming languages such as Python
Familiarity with ETL, data processing, database programming, and data analytics
