IT Vendor and Contract Manager Full Time

As an IT Vendor & Contract Manager you will be responsible for all local IT contracts in the Business Units across the ERIKS organization. You will be a member of the IT Procurement & Vendor Management department. Together with the team, you will pursue an optimal relationship with service providers and other IT stakeholders, ensuring support and clear communication for the benefit of ERIKS Business Units and ERIKS Digital.

You will ensure the implementation and compliance of the terms of the contracts in order to ensure that contractual commitments are delivered. You will be working across technology, defining, and agreeing a supplier governance framework and an agreed relationship map between ERIKS Business Units, ERIKS Digital, Legal, Internal Audit, and our supplier organizations.

The IT Vendor & Contract Manager reports to the Head of IT Procurement & Vendor Management.

ERIKS Digital is responsible for delivering new innovative digital solution as well as for creating and efficient way of procuring technological solutions across the organization of ERIKS.

Key responsibilities:

• Advice and help implement a Local IT strategy while ensuring alignment with the Global IT strategy, the Business Partners and the sourcing strategy.
• Set up and maintain a Sourcing strategy and Strategic Procurement Roadmap that support ERIKS strategy, business objectives and supporting operations.
• With knowledge and understanding of the specific business and strategy of ERIKS and ERIKS Digital, translate this into priorities and consequences for the Local IT Strategy.
• Facilitate stakeholders on make or buy decisions based on T.C.O. (Total Cost of Ownership) in alignment with the (sourcing) strategy.
• Work closely with local business owners/IT stakeholders to identify requirements, plan, execute and optimize the technology life cycle in support of the organization’s overall strategic objectives.
• Establish, implement and maintain an operational, tactical and strategic relationship and communication with suppliers, as well as monitoring their performance.
• Review and advice on the general structure and clarity of the contract language.
• Reviewing and advice on the legal provisions including (limitation of) liability, intellectual property rights, representations & warranties, governing law, dispute resolution and validity/enforceability of the agreement.
• Ensuring the adherence of the SLA and KPIs of the contracts.
• Manage the lifecycle of the contract for full utilization and steer on the performance agreed upon with focus on continual improvement and ensure alignment with Digital & IT roadmap.
• Implement and audit contract management controls: ensure all contract standards, templates, policies, and procedures are fully applied.
• Set up with Business Owners of the ERIKS Business Units an integral overview into the supplier performance and steer proactively on continual improvement. Performance is based on; Quality and Effectiveness, Time to Market, Innovation, Efficiency and Financially in order to achieve (business) goals and customer satisfaction.
• Document all the contracts in a contract database and standardize the processes, templates, and conditions. Creating an integral overview per contract regarding invoicing and charging in collaboration with the Financial Manager.

As a IT Vendor & Contract Manager we believe the right candidate meets the following criteria:

• Previous experience of 5 years+ in contracting and vendor management with best practice methods and techniques and frameworks;
• Strong vendor and contract management background;
• Good interlocutor, skilled negotiator and relationship manager with a high level of organizational sensitivity;
• Ability to maintain perspective and confidence in face of difficult renewal negotiations or possible disputes, tight deadlines and overall expectations;
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in sourcing, contracting and vendor management with best practice methods and techniques and frameworks;
• Up to date market knowledge and knowing what the market trends are and what and how ERIKS can use it to their advantage;
• Spirited team player with the ability to work as a positive role model and catalyst for change;
• Very good communication skills in written and spoken English.
