Operations Engineer Full Time

What do you do?

In the near future, several exciting and challenging laboratory, onshore and offshore test campaigns are planned. These are executed within development and commercial GBM’s projects, and coordinated by a Lead Operations.
As an Operations Engineer you are contributing to the practical activities of our test campaigns, in close cooperation with the Lead Operations. This includes but is not limited to:

• assist in selection and ordering of equipment and materials, provide input on operational plans, perform preparations with sub-contractors, define the testing strategy and cost estimate.
• be on-site and assist in performing commissioning activities, tests and experiments hands-on, analyze data and adjust the testing sequence based on the results, troubleshoot, coordinate the support of contractors, ensure QHSE rules are followed, record lessons learned, mitigate risks,
• take care of storage/return of equipment and materials, assist in reporting of the results and make recommendations on improvement for the following operations.

About you

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant engineering
• 4+ years of working experience in engineering
• Soft skills including positive attitude, flexibility and fun
• Focus on problem solving
• Full-time available, living in the Netherlands
