Key about your role
As a DevOps Engineer at Keylane you work in agile teams (Kanban) mainly with Java, Gradle, SQL, Ansible, Redhat Linux, Puppet and the various products in the Atlassian stack. Equally important is the contact with the customer for which you, together with your colleagues from your DevOps team, are the first point of contact. This also gives you immediate insight into how our software is used. This combination of programming, managing environments and customer contact provides a dynamic position in which you can optimally develop in the direction you aspire.
Besides this you keep track of changes, analyse, solve and correct issues in real-time, providing end-to-end problem resolution. Automation will be used by you to reduce the risk of errors and to escalate issues as appropriate to meet service level agreements. Therefore bug fixing is a big component of the job. You recognize opportunities to improve performance and strive to exceed customer expectation.

Keylane drives industry standards by developing best practice in standardized migrations, implementations, and comprehensive project management. We work in customer teams in the DevOps department to better understand the needs of the client and work together on projects.
As a Keylane DevOps Engineer, you are responsible to interact with the customer and colleagues of other departments, to understand the needs of the client and what the best way is to build or implement the right tools or solutions.
Together with the your team you work together on the daily maintenance of the databases and where possible you help to advice the team when executing complex queries or fixing bugs. Beside this, in your position you are interacting with the customer.
Key about you
- you have 5+ year experience as DevOps engineer
- have knowledge of Java, SQL and JavaScript
- have knowledge of, or have experience with working with Linux servers
- are analytical strong
- are customer and result oriented
- are proactive, flexible and a real team player
- are a good communicator
Keylane offers
- A monthly gross salary between € 3,700,- and € 5.400,- based on 40 hours per week for a senior position. A talented junior/medior would be able to do the job (on a different/lower level), which will have an appropriate salary;
- 8% holiday allowance of your total gross salary;
- A profit share (on average a monthly salary);
- Travel reimbursement;
- 24 holiday days (with the option to buy extra) and 7 inclusion days, which can be exchanged with fixed Dutch national holidays, allowing you to take them when you like;
- A well-structured pension scheme;
- A 1-year contract that will be converted, when functioning well, into a permanent contract;
- Flexibility in working environment. As part of a hybrid working team, you will work partly from home and partly from the office. If you work in the office, a free lunch is waiting for you every day. If you work from home, you will receive a working from home allowance (€4,- per day) and internet allowance (€35,- net per month);
