We are looking to hire a Data Management Consultant on senior level, to join our team as we continue to grow throughout The Netherlands and Europe.

What will you be doing?

As a Data Management Consultant on senior level at ProjectiveGroup, you will assist clients in the financial sector in developing and implementing their data strategy, growing their data maturity, and aligning their data management with changes in laws and regulations. As a data management consultant, you can provide practical solutions to challenges related to either data strategy, data governance, data quality, master data management, metadata management, data architecture, data security & privacy, and data integration. Additionally, you are aware of new developments such as lakehouse, data fabric, data mesh, active metadata management, and you can translate these trends into pragmatic customer-oriented solutions.

What kind of projects will you working on?

– Setting up and conducting a data management maturity assessment (DCAM or CDMC) and providing appropriate advice based on the client’s ambitions.

– Translating data-related laws and regulations (such as BCBS 239, SFDR, CSRD, KYC, and GDPR) into concrete implementation steps regarding policies, processes, and frameworks to ensure compliance.

– Advising and providing direction for the establishment of suitable data governance and data management capabilities based on data management frameworks (such as DAMA DMBOK).

– Supporting a data-driven culture by conducting workshops and training, and acting as a link between the business and data specialists.

Passion, drive and learning are more important than technical skills; however, here is a list of what would make a good Data Management Consultant on senior level at the ProjectiveGroup:

• A higher degree related to finance, economy, IT or engineering.
• 5+ years of experience as an end-to-end project manager in the financial services industry with experience in planning, delivering, and executing complex projects using different methodologies (waterfall, agile, lean, DevOps).
• 5+ years of experience in at least two of the following domains: data strategy, data architecture, data governance, data quality, master data management, metadata management, data privacy, data modeling, setting up cloud data control environments.
• Solid background in a client segment such as capital markets, corporate banking, SME/retail banking, FMI, payments, wealth and investment management or insurance.
• A passion for data and its added value for the customer; and a strong desire to transform our client’s culture into a data culture.
• Fluently in Dutch and English languages, both written and spoken.

Nice to have.

• Knowledge of data governance platforms (such as Collibra and Informatica) and data analysis platforms (such as Hadoop and Snowflake) is considered a plus.
• Experience with data transformations and cloud solutions (preference for Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Experience with regulatory data requirements (such as BCBS 239, KYC, and GDPR), data analysis, and/or reporting is considered a plus.
