Manager, Software Engineering (Taipei Based, Relocation Provided) Full Time

This is a full-time position based in Taipei, Taiwan. Our current hybrid work mode is Mon-Wed work from office (WFO) and Thu-Fri work from home (WFH)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and measure the impact of your team and set clear expectations and goals
  • Work effectively with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with various functions, and drive engineering initiatives 
  • Guide engineering technical strategy and roadmaps
  • Commitment to high code quality and delivery requirements

    • Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering work experience, including hands-on technical management building holistic web-based software solution, API design, and interactions between servers and clients
  • Clear communication – both written and verbal with English fluency to work in cross-functional and international teams
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience in recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management, with minimum experience of 1.5 years
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related fields (In lieu of degree, 4+ years work experience)
