THE ROLE
As Prototype Technician you will be part of the Product & Engineering team that works to develop our product for market. You will work closely with the Product Test Engineer to assemble our prototype products based on technical drawings and electrical schematics into complete components and systems.
YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY
Identifying, selecting and purchasing basic components and materials as well as tooling and machinery required for building the prototypes
Keeping the inventory of critical and commonly used parts
Connecting, cabling and installation of electrical, control components and its sensors
Occasionally performing repairs and by exception perform installations, maintenance and repairs at the customers location
Improving our products quality by analyzing quality issues and contributing to 8D reports
Identifying products and installation issues and communicating them to the engineering department or other colleagues
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
At least 3 years of experience in an industrial production or assembly organization in machine building and production methods with mechanical components and electrical technology
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Flexible attitude, accuracy, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
Experience building Automation cabinets and HVAC and NEN 3140 VP certificate (or willing to obtain it) are nice to have
You live in The Netherlands, within commuting distance from Amsterdam
Proficiency in the English language
