Junior Consultant Hotels Full Time

As a Consultant at SmartHOTEL, you will play a crucial role as the primary point of contact for hoteliers utilizing our range of solutions. Our client base consists of professional independent hotels with 50+ rooms located in the Benelux, Nordics, UK, and DACH region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for hoteliers seeking support on their systems, offering assistance through telephone, video conferences, and email.
• Guide hoteliers throughout the go-live and pilot timeline, ensuring a smooth transition and implementation process.
• Assist and provide guidance in utilizing payment automation solutions, helping hoteliers streamline their payment processes.
• Document and prioritize project-related questions, solutions, and processes to maintain comprehensive records.
• Develop a deep understanding of the hotel tech stack and its impact on improving daily operations for hoteliers.
• Build strong relationships within our network of hoteliers and technology partners, establishing valuable connections and expanding your professional network

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to document information accurately and prioritize tasks effectively.
• A genuine interest in learning about hotel technology and its practical application in enhancing hotel operations.
• Proactive and customer-focused mindset, dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to hoteliers.

We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualities and skills:

• Excellent work ethics, with a proactive “Can-Do” attitude and a commercial mindset.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality or technology industry.
• Satisfaction in providing assistance to hoteliers and delighting them with your support.
• Strong organizational and structural skills, allowing you to effectively manage tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Proficiency in understanding and working with SaaS and white label payment solutions.
• Experience in collaborating with hybrid work or remote teams, demonstrating adaptability and effective communication in virtual environments.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to articulate ideas and technical concepts effectively.
• Fluency in Dutch and/or German is an advantage, although not mandatory.
• While not required, a background in hospitality and an understanding of Hotel Tech are highly advantage
