The Opportunity

We want to help you grow and introduce you to all aspects of our digital agency. You have a chance to get to know a lot of different aspects when it comes to marketing. You’ll also work together with different departments in the company and learn more about the work of your colleagues and their respective roles. As our marketing intern you will be assigned to your mentor Helene to help you navigate the Youwe experience, but when in need of help you can also turn to all your fellow team members and other colleagues.

As our Marketing Intern, these will be your focus areas and key responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies
• Conduct market research to gather information on industry trends and consumer behavior
• Support the creation of marketing materials and content
• Help with online marketing initiatives, including social media and email campaigns
• Contribute to the overall success of the marketing team

What you have

To apply for this role it is important that you qualify for the following:

• You are available for an internship starting February of 2024 (for 5-6 months), for 36-40 hours per week
• You are currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a marketing program on HBO/WO level
• You are native Dutch & speak fluent English
• You either have experience or great affinity with the following aspects of marketing:

• Experience with SEO
• Experience with market research
• Experience with content creation

Who you will work with

You’ll be joining a team of 9, operating from 3 different countries. All of which have their own specialties and skills. The majority of which is situated at the Rotterdam Office. One of your colleagues will be Kiefer. Before Kiefer joined as one of our colleagues he did multiple marketing internships at Youwe.

What have you learned during your internship at Youwe? Kiefer responds: “The better question is – what didn’t I learn? I did so many different things that I really developed myself into an all-round marketeer. And for my later career that was more than beneficial. But the most important thing for me was that my colleagues didn’t see me just as an intern, but as a peer and their equal.
